What a beauty is my Aunt Judy!

Born on May 29, 1939, Judy (Nickerson) Kreis came into the world with her gorgeous red hair, freckles and the wit of an Irish storyteller!

During the working years, she designed publications for the research and information department at the credit union she worked for.  Being self-taught, she was a fantastic artist (as you can see, from the images on this page) and made many a greeting card for her friends and family.  She always had the urge to learn and went back to school in 1997, to pursue degrees in psychology and political science.  She was regrettably forced to quit, due to some major health reasons.   She is blind now, but still enjoys her playing the organ, listening to good stories, spending time with her husband, three children and nine grandchildren.

Enjoy some of her work...hopefully, I will find more some day.

A sculpture of her “African Princess” sits upon their fireplace hearth

This one is entitled “African Shepherd”  and hangs in their livingroom.
